Unusually energetic ( for the composer's doing ) in both loudness and driving percussive parts.
A twin bass guitar assault ( one distorted, one clean filtered type playing more disco-esque octave runs ) fight against the digital raw cutting sounds courtesy of the Elektron SID Station in a call-and-response interplay.
A multitude of processed drum tracks along with more natural percussive hits supply the rhythmic bed upon which the composition moves from near funky segments via fast arpeggios ( not the "from Hell"-type ) to syncopated staccato pulses defining the alien world.
Aural weaponry of interest that is evident on this recording: Elektron SID Station for all retro-videogame esque sounds and ear piercing buzz-saw slices.
