A wide repeating motif with alternating bass drones echoes through a wide space, only to be interrupted by dry bass and piano sounds and abstract radio interference. A brooding ominousness grows towards a manic theme, doubled by bass, tremolo picked guitar and berimbau hits.

Recurring sounds from sister composition "flagiolettes" feature alongside more distorted / blurred noises, hinting at the tonal palette to be used by "heliopolis" and thus acting as a bridge.

This piece has also been used in a rather different trailer for Proun.
