Down tuned and packing a punch

A collaboration with The Munchies, an Amsterdam based stoner rock project combining sludgy riffs with unexpected rhythmical complexity and a dose of humour on the side.

Third EP "Swing Low and You'll Never Miss" features two tracks of gargantuan, low-tuned riffage, distorted bass and frenetic drumming (all with a swing feel!) which made it challenging to maintain clarity without sacrificing the punch and oomph of the performance. And that was before the sustained vocal chants came into the picture.
